Important Instructions for Webinar!
[Sorry for the length – but it’s important to share the details and set expectations for a great learning experience]
Hello!
Thanks so much for registering for the Taylor’s– “Optimal Digestion: Examining the Digestive System from Beginning to End”. We have provided a link below that will include a reduced file of the seminar notes in black and white format so you can print them in advance. We suggest printing on 8x11 paper, portrait orientation, 2-sided and in black and white. The Shared Folder on Box.com (link below) has a color version and a full color PDF of the presentation slides. I know some of you like to go back and view a slide, while the webinar is moving forward. Opening a separate window with the full color PDF of the slides will allow you to take your time.
On this Shared Folder you will find a complete set of handouts and offers, as well as any new “promised” items that the Taylor’s may add during his presentation.
Webinar Replay, we will provide an unedited replay of the entire program to all registered participants. The recording will be available within 24 hours of the seminar (or sooner depending on the availability of the recording) and access will be removed after Sunday, May 8th, 2022.
All registered attendees will receive notification when the replay is available.

General Viewing Reminders & Tips:
- Zoom Entry- Arrive online at least 5 minutes early to check your audio/visual connections. If you are having issues, please use the chat screen to communicate with us. If necessary, you’ll be able to disconnect and reconnect, just in case it was a poor connection. We cannot foresee every problem, and many issues associated with spotty sound or freezing screens have to do with your internet speed or fluctuations in internet speed. Be patient. I know its 2022, and technology has come a long way…but it’s the internet (I wish I was laughing 😊). You will receive Zoom emails 1 day and 1 hour before the event.
- Chat– we will use the chat screen to post quick comments and links, provide clarification and for you to send technical Zoom questions to the panelists. If you have a clinical question or something for Chris or Melissa to answer, please use the Q&A screen.
- Q&A– use the Q&A screen to ask clinical, practice, product or protocol questions. This way we can provide a thoughtful answer in between our hosting activities, save them for live Q&A, or collect and respond after the seminar.
- Breaks– We will have two 15-minute breaks at approximately 10:30 and 3:30. During the breaks, we will provide some educational viewing, reminders of important learning opportunities and make some announcements. You are not required to stay, but you may want to listen in.
- Lunch– Lunch will be 1-hr and begin at approximately 12:30 pm. During lunch, we will run an educational program as a bonus that will begin at 1:00 pm MT (1/2 way through lunch). You are not required to participate, but are welcome to join in.
For technical emergencies and connection assistance, you may call the SPW office (800) 321-9807 between 8-9:30 and you will get a return call…or text Melissa Taylor’s direct cell (801) 209-7477.
CEU Reminders & Tips (for those registered with CEUs):
- Online activity– All registrants expecting continuing education credit must be present online for the duration of the program, minus breaks and lunch, of course. We review activity logs from Zoom and will randomly check in via chat with attendees. If you are not online for the duration of the program, you may not be eligible for the full 8 hours of credit.
- Note taking– In addition to the presentation notes, we provide a note-taking document to ensure you are focused on the highlights from the program that may be incorporated into the CEU exam 😊. We suggest you print that document along with your presentation notes to ensure focus and successful test taking.
- Online exam– All CEU registrants must take a 16 question online exam and pass with a score of 90% or better. The exam is open book/notes and you may retake the exam as many times as necessary to achieve the passing score. We will allow for test-taking through May 8th. If you do not take and pass your test by that date, your name will be submitted to TCC for credit, but with no test score. Some states will NOT authorize TCC to provide credit without passing the exam. A link to this exam will be sent to you immediately after the simulcast.
- Submission to Texas Chiropractic College (TCC)– We will send all CEU documents to TCC on May 10th (attendance records and your final exam score). They will process your CEUs and email your official voucher. Please file this on your desktop or print for your records. If you are in our Applied Clinical Nutrition certification program, you will need to upload this voucher into the CEU section of your course…or forward it to us on an email.
